So many people kept asking us, "How did you manage to go freelance, how do you do it?" So we set about creating That Freelance Life, a creative ‘how to’ podcast for freelancers hustling in London. We took it from idea to in your ear in only 4 months. Recording episodes, interviewing industry experts and editing all of the audio ourselves. 8 episodes for Season 1 covering topics such as taxes and accounting, dealing with recruiters, getting your name out there, portfolios, dealing with money and more. We then created all of our own content for social media, episode artwork and branding, creating an engaged Instagram following of 269 followers and 100 listeners per episode (and growing!) over 2 months.
We received many thoughtful messages letting us know that we’d given people the confidence to finally go freelance, and now we’re looking to release season 2 coming 2021.
